Chinese producer Helan Mountain win a gold medal in MUNDUS vini by Yang Fengyi 18/09/2015

2011 Helan Mountain Special Reserve Chardonnay from the famous Chinese region took home a gold medal in the recent MUNDUS vini, a German wine competition.

Founded in 2001, the annual contest received over 6,000 entries this year from 38 different countries.

The winning wine came from the magnificent Helan Mountain, whose unique soil and climate makes the wine exceptional.

A team led by Australian consultant Philip Laffer manages every step from vineyard to inside the bottle.

This is not the first time Helan Mountain’s reserve Chardonnay win a major award. Just last year, the 2011 received a gold medal in the World Chardonnay Awards, not to mention tons of domestic awards.
